Trbovlje Youth Hostel offers its guests not only accommodation, but also a pleasant experience of staying in a hostel, which reflects the natural heritage of the Zasavje region through its design and outer appearance. The hostel rooms, named after the very picturesque surrounding hills, will take our guests on adventures through Zasavje.

Trbovlje Youth Hostel has a special cultural atmosphere. It's one of the rare places in the Zasavje region, where different individuals, hailing from various nationalities, cultures, beliefs and views, all come together. Visitors from all over the world enjoy the atmosphere of the Trbovlje Youth and Sports Institute which is enriched by its events, offering guests entertaining, educational, music, recreational and other activities.

The hostel staff has an especially good ear for sports enthusiasts who are eager to indulge in sports adventures. The hills around Zasavje offer good hiking opportunities for all generations. Bicycle enthusiasts can test their skills and stamina with a bike ascent on Kum, which is the second most difficult slope in Europe. Challenge yourself to an outdoor rock-climbing adventure. The spectacular Zasavje region will certainly give you an adrenaline rush. Running enthusiasts can also run in the coal mine tunnels, available only in Zasavje.

Trbovlje Youth Hostel is known for hosting large groups. Throughout the year, Trbovlje Youth Hostel hosts several international groups and is involved in numerous youth exchanges. Throughout the years, we have developed excellent skills to cater to the needs of our guests who come from different parts of the world. We prepare and offer a customized program for each individual group.

The hostel staff make sure that accommodation is a pleasant experience for all generations and social groups. To offer families with children a pleasant stay, we can add a portable baby bed or an extra bed to your room. The entrance to the hostel is wheelchair-friendly. We also offer a double bedroom with wheelchair-friendly bathroom. Please inform our staff about your requests (baby bed, wheelchair friendly room) when booking your stay.

Pets are welcome in our cafe as well as in our hostel. We kindly ask our guests to inform our staff about bringing their pets with them when booking the accommodation.

Trbovlje Youth Hostel offers its guests several accommodation options: double bedrooms with bathroom (one or two persons), apartment with your own kitchen and bathroom (one person, a couple, or a family), or dormitory (up to 14 people) with shared bathroom. Guests are welcome to use the multipurpose hall and the shared kitchen, or simply relax in our cafe with an indoor as well as outdoor seating area.

All our guests get a free Wi-Fi access, an option to use the laundry room and the shared hostel kitchen, as well as the free parking in front of the building.
