 Hostel Pod Voglom is situated right next to the Bohinj lake in the Bohinj Valley in North-West part of Slovenia and is ideal for the active holiday and the outdoor fans.
At our outdoor centre we finished winter season, the snow has melted and the spring has came, so we started April with the so called „Green weekend“. We invited people from everywhere to join us on a free weekend and help us clean the surrounding of the hostel and Lake Bohinj.
 Hostel Pod Voglom offered free accommodation for all the guests who arrived to Bohinj Valley by train and helped to clean the surrounding. It was an extremely successful project and we can expect to be repeated next year.
Between 21st of May and 4th of June the International Wild Flower Festival took place here in Bohinj, where visitors could participate in various exhibitions, workshops and botanical tour on which they have learnt about the characteristics of the local flora, and natural and cultural heritage of Bohinj.
Now we are already fully prepared for a long and hot summer season and we are starting the summer activities for all our guests and Bohinj visitors.
 Guests can enjoy a romantic boating on the lake in a canoe or a kayak or experience a more adventurous rafting on Sava Bohinjka river. We also offer canyoning or hydrospeed. You can always try your courage in the High Ropes Course or release your desire to fly with tandem paraglider.
During the summer many interesting traditional events will happen as „Vasovanje“ (Wedding Feast), Rural Wedding, Midsummer Night and late summer famous Cow festival.
