»Kk? Tk!« is a project by the youth organizations of Velenje, coordinated by Počitniško društvo Kažipot (PDK). It is a project that enables young members of society to get to know the many different youth organizations in a different, unconventional way. At the end of the day the young people can't stay unsatisfied, so a party with themed games will follow.
The »Kk? Tk!« project shall take place the first Friday in September, 4. 9. 2009, at Velenje's children's playground (next to Rdeča dvorana). It is meant for young people aged between 15 and 29, but it is expected that the elder will also attend. The project itself will last 12 hours, beginning at noon (12 am) and ending at midnight (24 pm).
On this day we will se presentations of more than 35 organizations. Each of them shall be entitled to their own space, where they shall present themselves in a way they have devised on their own. It isn't just about the theoretical, but also the practical part of what this organization does. If we supply some examples – scouts of Rod Jezerski Zmaj will prepare a funny trail, Velenje Theatre will present itself with a theatrical by-pass, Organization of electronic music producers shall have their mini studio, where people will be able to record their own music with different programs.
Three foreign, partner organizations shall also participate in the »Kk? Tk!« project; they have strongly influenced work and development concerning young people during the decades. These organizations come from Velenje's sister towns Esslingen (Germany), Eger (Hungary) and Udine (Italy), who have become our partners during different periods of our town's history. Five participants of each city (15 together) shall join us actively during the »Kk? Tk!« project, even though they will have been active in Velenje a few days prior. They will show us the history of the connections between their town and ours, and bring their organization, culture and way of life closer to visitors.
The organizations shall be able to present themselves between noon (12 am) and evening (20 pm), after which we shall have a party where young people will be able to listen to local DJs and also win a prize, because we will have themed games throughout the day. A lot will be going on, so we are expecting a large number of visitors.
