Green Pohorje, clean air, silence interrupted only by the song of birds and the wind whispering through the branches of the trees. The native forest, many waterfalls, lakes and the flora and fauna of bogs invite you to numerous hikes, biking trips and enjoyment of the unspoiled nature. In midst of this unspoiled nature is the hostel Videc. It was built last year and it stands at 1050m. It is a 
part of the hotel complex Bolfenk and has access to a wellness center with pools, bubble baths, saunas and massage parlors. Only 300m from the hostel is the upper station of the cable cart Pohorje, one of the oldest and safest cable carts in Europe. It takes you to the hill base in 12 minutes, where you can use the Maribor city bus (for you’re already in the suburbs) to take you to the center of the second biggest city in Slovenia.
In the city there will be the traditional Lent festival (from 26th of June to 11th of July). It’s a festival that attracts over half a million visitors yearly and can pride itself with organizing concerts of such stars as were B.B. King, Ray Charles and James Brown. This year it will host over 650 events with performers from 35 countries. There’s a special offer for all, who wish to attend this festival.
