„The new Hostelling International hostel – Riga Beach Hostel in Jurmala is open from the May of this year. That is simbolik that in the 100 anniversary of the hostelling movment, the national youth hostel association - Hostelling Latvia starting to operate with the first hostel. There are already 15 members in the association but they are independently managed.
The Riga Beach Hostel is located just 100m from the beach and 500m from the historical center of the famous sea resort in the Baltic Sea region – Jurmala (www.jurmala.lv). The dominating architecture of the buildings are style of the beginning of XX century. Nice dunes and paintree forests and parks creating microclimate suitable for the health.
