The island of Lošinj is also well known as the "Island of vitality", and that's not just a phrase...Instead of offering you just a classic tourist offer, such as accomodation and the beautiful seaside, Lošinj has so many more... We'll try to represent only a "drop in the sea" of things that Lošinj has to offer as well.
OVER HUNDRED YEARS TRADITION OF HEALTH RESORT AND TOURISMOwing to the exceptional characteristics of the climate Lošinj was proclaimed a climatic health resort by a decree of the Ministry of Health of the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy in 1892. The island offers ideal conditions for a physical and psychological recovery, particularly during the winter, spring and autumn. So, Lošinj is the perfect place for anti-stress and wellness, breathing and skin recoveries.
FRAGRANCES AND TASTES OF THE ISLAND OF LOŠINJ
Event through the all year, every month is dedicated to the island's medicinal plants and pot herbs.
The fragrance network has expanded in all forms, from floral displays, potpourri, liqueurs, juices, cakes, fragrant decorations to gastro-menus where, in various ways, autochthonous island plants are used.
SKYDIVING PHOTO CONTESTThis projects idea is to provide competition / contest in photo and video works material - made in free fall or from ground, with theme Skydiving. Skydiving activities will run like on every other skydiving boogie - free choice (solo jumps, free fly; free style; formation skydiving; swoop; tandem jumps; wings jumps and of course video jumps) according to regulations like on every other Adria Boogie.
VARIOUS AND NUMEROUS EXHIBITIONS
In just a few galleries and museums there will be a lots of exibitions with various themes and artists, as well as permanent offer of local museums. We will be able soon to proudly represent CROATIAN APOXYOMENOS (2nd – 1st century B.C.) the antique bronze statue of an athlete found in sea nearby the island of Lošinj, making diving more and more popular.

VISIT US AND ENJOY:To expirience a bit of above named things and events, we are pleased to invite you to stay in our youth hostel, placed in pitoresque little place Veli Lošinj. Friendly staff, delightful surrounding, and cosy dormitories and perfect comfortable private rooms will try to and make your stay unforgetable, either you are coming alone, in couple, with friends or a as group.
The Youth Hostel Veli Lošinj is placed in a beautiful villa built in 1889.
Within the three-floors of the villa there are double rooms, three, four and five-bedded rooms. There is a self-service restaurant (with a TV), a bar, Internet corner and a nice tarrace surrounded by a mediterranean garden. In this hostel you will definetely enjoy a nice and happy hostel atmosphere.
This is a relatively small hostel and we reccommend to you to book your bed in advance to avoid dissapointment.

By Bus:
Croatia has a quality and well developed national network of bus lines and schedules, reaching all the way to the smallest towns on the coast. Bus line Rijeka – Mali Lošinj operates on daily basis, few times a day, line Zagreb – Mali Lošinj two times a day, and in summer season there is a direct line from Ljubljana as well.
By boat:
