After three building stages the renovation work at the Youth Hostel “Palagiovani” in Locarno is completed. The multilayered building appears in an agreeable, modern architecture. The ambitious working schedule was conducted by Dr. Arch. Fabio Giacomazzi and Arch. Franco Patà. Many rooms offer a higher comfort than before. Also in the background were many new things made. It has been increasingly invested in ecological measures. The energetic renovation with building isolation, solar panels and connection to the district heating reduces energy consumption more than 35%. With the redesign of the ground floor and the surrounding area, the work could get completed successfully. Now, the Youth Hostel Locarno is ready to accommodate you again!
