Between the 1st and 4th of October 2009 the representatives of the Finish Youth Hostels Suomen Retkeilymajajärjestö - SRM visited Slovenia. As hosts we showed them the Youth Hostel 
Bledec-Bled, Youth Hostel pod Skalo - Kamnik, Youth Hostel Vetrnica - Ruše, Youth Hostel UNI - Maribor, Youth Hostel Videc - Pohorje and finally Youth Hostel Proteus - Postojna. Apart from showing them the hostles in the network of Popotniško združenje Slovenije, we also took them to some natural, cultural, culinary and technological attractions of Slovenia, like: Vintgar, the old town of Radovljice, Tuhinjska valley, making of pumpkin oil in Središče ob Dravi, the blacksmith museum in Razkrižje, the love island with Brod on river Mura, pottery Bojnec in Filovci, Plečnik’s church in Bogojina and in conclusion the Postojna cave. Such visits are strengthening bonds between organizations, youth and people working with youth in both countries, that’s why they are most welcome.
