Youth hostel LJUBNO OB SAVINJI

Youth hostel Ljubno ob Savinji joined the umbrella organization Hostelling International in June 2006, in hope to combine tradition with modern trends of tourism. It's a family hostel, originally operating as Gostišče Pevc, with over 50 years of fine experience in tourist accommodation and restaurant services.

Hostel is located in centre of Upper Savinja Valey, which is excellent starting point for discovering cultural and natural beauties of this hidden part of Slovenia. Although it is a small hostel, with only 15 beds, we think of this as an advantage, because guests can receive special attention and local advice. Besides lodging guests can taste great local home made cusine and can choose between bed and breakfast, half or full-board. During the summer season hostel offer’s organically home produced vegetables.

Additional offer is free rent-a bike for guests, consulting and route planning. There are great opportunities for hiking in the area, free maps and brochures available. Excursions to the surroundings with licence tourist guide and hiking guide can be made in view to guest interest.
