Youth Health and Holiday Resort of the Slovenian Red Cross Debeli rtič has been operating since 1956, when for the first time under the tents arrived 300 children in three shifts. Since then and until today we developed and expanded in now 4 centers: resort center, health and wellness center, center of experiences and business center.
By entering Debeli rtič you come into the world of sea, sun, green Mediterranean park and especially relaxing ambience of our hotels. Let your holiday adventure begin!
Imagine you are standing on a charming cape far away from city swarm, where you can set forth all senses, forget all worries and dedicate yourself to the feeling of space comfort.
Our facilities shall conjure a warm sea atmosphere in a modern ambience with pleasantly equipped rooms, bar and restaurant, where you will be spoiled with culinary delicacies. Accomodation in Hostel Debeli rtič is possible in 43 comfortable domestic rooms with a total ob 132 beds(each room has its own with bathroom with shower - most of them balcony or a terrace with a seasight or a view on surrounding vineyards) or 12 rooms with a total of 55 beds with sharing bathrooms, common kitchen and common area . Linen is included.
We can also fulffil any requirement of guests with special needs.
All enthusiasts of healthy life and exercising shall undoubtedly enjoy luxuriant Mediterranean park of our Hostel Debeli rtič.
In the centre od experience one can choose between own beach with an outdoor swimmingpool or indoor semi-olympic swimmingpool with heatet seawater. There are also 5 different types of sauna available for relaxation: finnish, turkish, bio and infrared sauna, kneipp bath.
There is a rich recreational program that includes Nordic walking, trim path with 17 stops for exercises, and a visit of our natural park. Guests can enjoy our beach bolleyball, basketball and socder courts from spring until late fall.
For health inconveniences that may occur we have a outpatient clinic, professionally conducted physiotherapy and working therapy, where you will be taken a good care of. At your disposal is also a rich health care programme.
