Opened in 2009 Happy Hostel is a family business and the owner’s goal is to provide excellent services indeed for a cheap price.

Located in downtown Bucharest , only 5 minutes walking distance from Piata Unirii, Happy Hostel is having in its neighborhood a huge park “ Tineretului” where you can relax and enjoy a delicious and fun meal on the edge of the lake or you can take a romantic boat trip. Just 2 minutes walking you have 4 restaurants for your traditional Romanian dinner or lunch.

If you are interested in history, the cemetery where our heroes from ’89's revolution are berried is just 10 minutes away. Also the Mausoleum from Carol’s park, which was build in the memory of the communist heroes in 1963 and has a high of 48 meters, is just 5 minutes walking distance. Are you interested of what happened during those years with the remains of this people and what you can find inside of the Mausoleum at the moment?? Came to Happy Hostel and we tell you the story! The Palace of the Parliament, the second building that you can see from the Moon, is just 20 minutes away from us.

If you want to see the Small Paris - how Bucharest used to be called in 1930 - all you have to do is walk for 10 minutes or take the subway from Tineretului Station to Unirea Station ( that means only one station) and there you are in the old town!! All the other museums can be reached easily from our location cause we have all public transportation close by.

And to make sure that our guests are going to be full of energy while in Bucharest , we start our day at 7.30 with aerobic exercises in the park with our fitness trainer. (This is happening only one week a month accordingly with the trainer schedule...so ask at reception when you get there).
