On this map you can see the foot path marked in red and the cycler’s path marked in blue.

We start at Joseph’s well (the upper left picture) and continue in the direction towards the church of St. Joseph (the upper right picture) until we reach the “Limbuška cesta 52”, where we get a mark that we’ve completed the path. Next we continue until we reach the Korbunova ulica, at the base of “Pekrska gorca”, and further along pass the chapels towards the church at the peak. We descend down the southern side towards the post office in Pekre, through Žablja vas crossing the Limbuška cesta and the railway until we reach the river bank. We then continue along the river bank until we reach the abandoner railroad tracks (bottom left picture) which used to supply the power plant. We cross the Obrežna ulica and continue along the river, pass the Vigvam (bottom right picture), go under the bridge and return to our starting point (Joseph’s well).

The entire tour will take some three walking hours at a mild pace, but you can start just about anywhere on the route and even go around it several time.

Once you’ve completed the tour we’d like to invite you to e-mail us and tell us how long it took you, weather you went on foot or with a bike, and give any possible suggestion for the next time.

Along the way you will soon see the natural beauty of the region and also the trash some people shamelessly leave behind. Hopefully the nature experience will enrich you.

We will also have a little raffle and give out some prices to some lucky participants, but that will be after the event.
